Payment Policy
At Little Hearts Lactation, we strive to provide exceptional lactation support services to help you achieve your breastfeeding goals. To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, we have established the following payment policy for services provided by Megan Jones, our Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC).
Fees for Services
• Initial Consultation (In-Person): $150 for a 90-minute session.
• Follow-Up Appointments: $75 for a 60-minute session.
• Weight Checks: $50 for a 30-minute session.
• Additional Time: If a session exceeds the allotted time, an additional fee of $25 per 15 minutes may apply, subject to prior agreement.
All fees are subject to change. Clients will be notified of any updates at least 30 days in advance.
Payment Terms
• Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise arranged in advance.
• Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), and digital payments (e.g., Venmo, PayPal). A 3% processing fee may apply to credit card transactions.
Insurance
Little Hearts Lactation does not directly bill insurance providers. However, upon request, we can provide a detailed receipt (superbill) with applicable billing codes for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage for lactation services.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment will incur no charge and are eligible for a full refund if payment was made in advance.
• Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
• No-shows (failure to attend without prior 24 hours notice) will be charged the full session fee.
• Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without a fee reduction, depending on scheduling constraints.
Refunds
• Refunds for unused prepaid services (e.g., package deals) are available within 30 days of purchase, minus a $25 administrative fee per session already completed.
• No refunds will be issued for services rendered or for cancellations/no-shows outside the terms outlined above.

We are committed to making lactation support accessible. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact us to discuss potential payment plans or sliding scale options, which may be offered at the discretion of Little Hearts Lactation.
